On 11 June 2024, the Sportcenter Donaucity was transformed into a vibrant arena for school sports when the final of the Austrian Padel Academy's School Padel Tour took place. The excitement was palpable in the air as around 700 young, sports-loving pupils from all over Austria came together to compete against each other in one of the most exciting and fastest-growing racket sports.
 
A day full of excitement and passion
Early in the morning, the padel courts were already filled with energetic players preparing for the upcoming matches. The variety of participants – from beginners to experienced young talents – showed the broad appeal of the sport of padel. Each match was characterised by impressive technique, strategic skill and a tireless fighting spirit.
 
The atmosphere on the courts was electrifying. The stands were packed with parents, friends and fans cheering on their favourites. The support from the stands gave the players additional motivation to give their best.
 
Perfect organisation and an exciting supporting programme
The Austrian Padel Academy spared no effort in organising the event perfectly. From the smooth registration process and well thought-out scheduling to the well-prepared courts - everything ran like clockwork. The referees ensured that the matches were fair and exciting, while the helpers in the background made sure that everything ran smoothly.
 
Away from the padel courts, visitors were offered a varied supporting programme. Numerous stands with tasty snacks and drinks catered for the physical well-being of the guests. There was a children's zone for the youngsters with various games and activities to keep them entertained. Music, live DJs and entertaining presenters rounded off the event and ensured an exuberant atmosphere.
